Pictures from my visit to the "Museum of London". What a great museum, everyone who's interested in the history of London should go there. I really loved it. It's great for kids too.
But I mainly visited it because of the "Pleasure Gardens" exhibiton.

Back in May I finished the ~1815 Bonnet. Here's the WIP in pictures. The pictures of the finished bonnet coming soon (I want to take a few new pics of it).
Pattern: Lynn McMasters Regency Bonnet Pattern #54
The bonnet base is made from heavy Buckram (maybe a bit too heavy for my taste, but it was my first hat ever ...), hatwire, black and white flannel for mulling. The brim lining is made from a black cotton/silk blend, the crown is lined with a black swiss-dots cotton leftover. The Bonnet is covered with black silk and trimmings made from red silk.
